Yesterday as I was photographing the beautiful autumn trees up the Sunlight and Beartooth Mts. I spotted a cluster of aspen trees and it reminded me of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax. I always liked the trees in that show. Don't ask me why, just did. I called them puff puff trees when I was little, cuz I couldn't remember what they were called. Hell I couldn't remember the name of the show either. Just Dr. Seuss and the puff puff trees. Back then my Dad ran the radio station at the school, so this was how he entertained me. Now let's fill you in on how long ago this was, and how old I really am. This was back in-the-day of reel to reel. But if you forgot the name of the trees, it's Truffula trees. Kinda a big word for a little kid to remember, HUH? Well I think there is a small resemblance.
