The dogs have been feeling A TAD needy since the cold air hit us. Skyler even asked the other day, "What in the world is wrong with Nubby? She won't leave me alone." "She's feeling needy Sky." So I walk into the living room to find her on the couch snuggled up with him. The dogs aren't suppose to be on the furniture, and when we leave the house we have to put the bar stool chairs on the couch and chair-ottoman. The mastiff has a habit of sneeking onto the ottman and getting it all hairy for me. Sweetheart that she is. It's that I gotta touch you thing. Cidney started out laying on me in the chair and then on Nubby. O well. It's just another hour of vacuuming, like I have nothing better to do.

SANTA'S EARLY ARRIVAL

Well Santa came 2 days early this year at our house. Ken has been home on vacation and not been able to work on the addition to the house cuz man it's cold outside, and Skyler is on X-mas break from school, and not been working due to weather either. Kinda hard to wash cars in below freezing conditions. Me? I was still working. On Tue I came home for lunch to 2 boys mopping and bored out of their minds. Now, I bought a Wii fit 3 weeks ago not owning a Wii yet, but in hopes of finding one. My boss called me Friday morning to see if I still was needing one cuz Pamida in Powell had 4 left. "O yes please grab me one" I told her. Awesome, a present from Santa for the family. I couldn't get it in the house in the Pamida bag cuz the boys would see it so I snuck wrapping paper out and wrapped it at work. Since they are bored I caved and let them have it. I however had to return to work till 6pm. Skyler stopped by my work a couple hours later for money to purchase another remote. When I got home they were still playing. It was great to see their smiling faces and knowing how much fun they were having. These are the same boys that thought it was lame to get a Wii in the first place. HUH aint that funny. Well long story short....we were up till 1 am playing the darn thing and we are all so sore today. I'm gonna work on the hula hoop game cuz Mike told me Meg is the Queen of hula hoop so I want to challenge her. Give me a few weeks to practice k?

THE MISSING LONG JOHN'S
I get the frantic phone call at 1:30 pm today from the 17 yr old son whom needs to be to work by 2 pm... "MOM, where are my long john's?" My responce? "Well Skyler I didn't wear them last, so I don't know." He had them on yesterday. Seriously? Does he really think I have them on as we speak? Mind you he is almost a foot taller than me, which would put the waist at my arm pits. Hello Steve Urkal! I know why he can't find them cause his room looks like a tornado went through it. If I were at the house, I could walk right into his room and hand them to him. He couldn't find the hot dogs in the freezer today either. Is it just a 17 yr old boys scrambled up brains, is it frozen from the fridged air outside, or is he blind? JEEZ!! It scares me to think, "Will he make it out in the real world on his own some day? "

HYPNOSIS
With only 4 days till x-mas, the food addict can't wait for Santa to show up. As you can tell by last years photo. He leaves lots of goodies for her and her sis Cidney. Here she looks to be reading the cookie box, when really she is trying to hypnotis it, "OPEN OPEN OPEN", in hopes it will and she can eat the whole damn box! Small brain, large gut !!!

FLASH BACK

God help us. I lived thru it once, please don't make me relive it again. The ripped clothing, the punk rock look, the exercise guru, and the neon everything. What a fashion statement we were. The legwarmers, jelly bracelets and shoes, Guess jeans, oversize sweatshirts, mini skirts, stretch pants, sweaters around the shoulders, (my sister wants to bring this look back in.), shoulder pads, baggy blazers with rolled up sleeves, clothes in layers, jean jackets, acid wash jeans, parachute pants, and Reebok high top tennis shoes. Big hair, mall bangs, huge earrings, banana clips, friendship bracelets, sunglasses, and big purses. MTV came out in the 80's, the rubics cube, swatch watches, (still have mine), and Tab was the pop to drink. YUCK! The Atari was the only game unit to play on the TV, (Still have this too. On occasions I get it out to play River Raider, Pit Fall, Frogger, Centapide, and Ms. Pac-man.) Break dancing was hot, boom boxes, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Prince, Cyndi Lauper, and GOOD rock-n-roll. Today's term... Hair Bands! Music was on cassette tapes, Macintosh had the Apple II computer, and KYDZ was the radio station that rocked!!!
